The Grace of God – Why You Need It

Dear friend, if there was some way for you to look into this preacher’s heart, you would see a burdened heart that is concerned for your eternal soul. While it may be true, that I do not know you personally, it is the love of Christ, for you, in me that yearns for your spiritual welfare.

My heart’s desire toward you is likened unto the Apostle Paul’s desire toward Israel.

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” Romans 10:1

The true story of the grace of God must be declared to people just like you. It is my responsibility as an ambassador for Christ to plead with you to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

Are you going about to establish your own righteousness?
Have you submitted yourself unto the righteousness of God?
Are you even aware of God’s righteousness?

Here are some facts you should be aware of:

You Owe A Sin Debt

Whether you accept this fact or not does not change the reality. You have inherited a sin debt from Adam. Plus, you have added to that account by your own actions. All mankind was in the loins of Adam when he fell. He brought the entire human race into condemnation.

You may think it unfair for you to be held accountable for Adam’s sin, yet do not forget the fact that YOU have sinned on your own against a holy God.

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10

You Offer No Sacrifice That Is Sufficient

Do you realize God does not need you nor anything you possess materially? Do you realize you possess no means within your own power to redeem your soul from sin?

Men try to sacrifice animals to pay their sin debt but to no avail. Others try to buy their way to God. Or by means of abstention to gain favor with God.

You Own A Heart That Is Deceitful

Your heart is not going to submit to the righteousness of God on its own! Even now as you read this article, your heart may not agree with the information at all. Yet, for there to be hope for you, someone must make you aware of these biblical truths. Consider what God says about your heart:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: Who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

You can trust the Scriptures when you cannot trust your eyes, your ears, your feelings, or your heart.

Salvation By The Grace of God

Dear friend, you need the grace of God. For your soul’s sake, allow yourself to hear the preaching of the Word of God. Faith to truly believe the message o the cross does not originate within us.

Let me encourage you to accept the fact that all men that are saved are done so by God’s amazing grace, not by works of righteousness that man has done.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.

In Conclusion

Let me state clearly that God is not interested in your religious works nor your sacrificial life style. God is interested in your reception of His only begotten Son as your personal Savior.

When you go about working to earn your salvation by good works, you are trying to establish your own righteousness which will be rejected by God. You are ignorant of God’s righteousness that is freely provided through Jesus Christ and His work on Calvary!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
