Truth for Troubled Hearts

truth for troubled hearts

Trouble and heartache are a part of life. Whether it’s anxiety, fear or grief—our hearts often become overwhelmed. But God does not leave His children (Believers) without comfort. In his recent message titled “Truth for Troubled Hearts,” Pastor Roger Hoots reminded us that God’s Word gives us truth we can rest in, no matter the storm.

He Does Care

We sometimes wonder if God sees us—if He truly cares. The answer from Scripture is a resounding yes. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

God is not distant. He is involved, loving, and attentive. He knows your fears and understands your pain. You don’t have to carry your burden alone—He invites us to cast it on Him.

You Must Believe He Cares

It’s not enough to hear that He cares—you must believe it. Trust is active. It means you pray, you seek Him and you walk with Him. Philippians 4:6 (KJV) instructs us:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

If you’re a believer, you have a relationship with Him. Talk with Him. Listen to Him. He is a Faithful Father!

Use Your Bible

Reach for the Bible first when your heart feels troubled. Why? Because the Bible is God speaking directly to you. It contains His promises, His wisdom, and His instructions.

Psalm 119:105 (KJV) says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” If you want direction, go to the Word. God will show you what to do.

Turn to Jesus Christ

If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, today is the day. Only in Him can you find true peace, lasting hope, and eternal life. Jesus died for your sins and rose again to save you.

John 14:1 (KJV) says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” Don’t let your heart remain in turmoil—turn to Christ today! For a full presentation of the Gospel, Watch This Video.
